Companies’ address and contact details are public and available to anyone, for example via the Company and organisation search at ytj.fi.Avautuu uuteen välilehteen​

Please note that you can also file a specific mailing postal address to the Tax Administration. An address only submitted to the Tax Administration is not public.

How to file change of address in the online service at ytj.fi

  1. ​Log into the online service at ytj.fiAvautuu uuteen välilehteen in Finnish or Swedish. Select “Muuta yrityksen tietoja tai lähetä tilinpäätös” in Finnish or ”Ändra företagets uppgifter eller skicka in bokslut” in Swedish (Change company details or send financial statements). Enter the Business ID of the company.
  2. Choose “Osoite- ja yhteystiedot” or ”Adress- och kontaktuppgifter” in the menu (Address and contact details). 
  3. Enter the new postal address, street address and other new contact details in the given order. If some of the details do not change, select "Ei muutosta" in Finnish or "Ingen ändring" in Swedish for each such detail in the menu. Read our tips about filing street address details.​
  4. Accept, sign and send the notification.

What to do if you do not have a Finnish personal identity code

You must have a Finnish personal identity code to file notifications in the online service at ytj.fi. If you are an EU citizen, use our online form to file a change of address for a limited liability company or branch. Contact details of the person providing further information in the online service at ytj.fi

When you file a notification in the online service at ytj.fi, you must file the contact details of the person providing further information. The PRH or the Finnish Tax Administration will contact the person if a notification needs to be corrected or completed.

The details of the person providing further information are not available in the company and organisation search at ytj.fi.

You can save the details of the person providing further information to avoid submitting them again in future notifications.

Please note:

  • The contact details of the person providing further information do not change the company’s registered address and contact details.
  • Similarly, if you change the company's address and contact details, it will not affect the address and contact details recorded in our system about the person providing further information.
