Notification of changes in the online service at ytj.fi
Log in to the online service at ytj.fi

We are gradually revamping the online filing service at ytj.fi. This will cause temporary changes in the filing of notifications of changes.

After you have logged in to the service at ytj.fi and entered the company’s Finnish Business ID, select the notification you wish to submit. Please note that the service is only available in Finnish and Swedish. Read more below.

Select the notification

Address and contact details

Select “Osoite- ja yhteystiedot” in Finnish or “Adress- och kontaktuppgifter” in Swedish when you file changes to the company’s address or other contact details.

Key persons

Select “Avainhenkilöt” or “Nyckelpersoner” when you file changes to the details of key persons. Key persons are the following:

  • Board of directors
  • Managing director (CEO)
  • House manager
  • Auditor
  • Holder of procuration
  • Person entitled to represent the company

Please note that you cannot file changes to other details using the notification for key persons.

Example: You want to file a new board of directors and a change to the articles of association with the Finnish Trade Register. Changes concerning the board of directors are filed by clicking “Avainhenkilöt” in Finnish or “Nyckelpersoner” in Swedish. Changes concerning the articles of association are filed by clicking “Muut tiedot” in Finnish or “Övriga uppgifter” in Swedish.

Please note the following:

  • If you want to file a notification of termination of your appointment, click “Muut tiedot” / “Övriga uppgifter”.
  • You can file beneficial owner details by clicking “Edunsaajatiedot” in Finnish or “Förmånstagaruppgifter” in Swedish.

Other details

Select “Muut tiedot” or “Övriga uppgifter” when you file

  • changes to the following:
    • Financial period
    • Articles of association
    • Rules
    • Partnership agreement
    • Auxiliary company names and parallel company names
  • other changes to the Finnish Trade Register
  • changes to the Finnish Tax Administration’s registers

In addition, select this when you file a notification concerning termination of your appointment.

Beneficial owner details

Select “Edunsaajatiedot” or “Förmånstagaruppgifter” when you file the company’s beneficial owners or changes to the beneficial owner details.

I am no longer a beneficial owner

Select “En ole enää edunsaaja” or “Jag är inte längre förmånstagare” when you file that you are no longer a beneficial owner of the company.

Financial statements

Select “Tilinpäätös” or “Bokslut” when you file the company’s financial statements with the Finnish Trade Register.

Authorisation

Select “Valtuutus” or “Auktorisering” when you want to authorise someone to sign notifications on behalf of the company in the online service at ytj.fi.

Merger

Select “Sulautuminen” or “Fusion” when you file any of the following:

  • Draft terms of merger
  • Application for a public notice in merger
  • Implementation of merger
  • Lapse of merger

Demerger

Select “Jakautuminen” or “Delning” when you file any of the following:

  • Draft terms of demerger
  • Application for a public notice in demerger
  • Implementation of demerger
  • Lapse of demerger

Transfer of registered office

Select “Kotipaikan siirto” or “Flytt av hemort” when the company’s registered office is transferred from one country in the European Economic Area (EEA) to another and you file any of the following:

  • Notification of transfer of registered office to another EEA country
  • Notification of transfer of registered office to Finland
  • Notification of lapse of transfer
