Rules for BIS Search

The free information service of the Business Information System is meant for checking information concerning individual businesses.

To be able to provide all users with an even-handed information service without backlogs we obey the following rules:

  • Searches by search robots are forbidden.
  • A maximum of 1,000 searches from one IP address is allowed during one day. If the number of searches in a day exceeds this, the use of the information service will be closed to the IP address concerned for one week. During this time other BIS pages can, however, be used normally, for example forms can be retrieved.

Mass-scale information service liable to charge and based on the information contents of the BIS is offered by  Fonecta Oy, Intrum Justitia Oy, JM-Tieto Oy, Kauppalehti Oy, Lindorff Oy, Soliditet Finland (Bisnode Finland Oy) and Suomen Asiakastieto Oy.
